Fabric for block.

I think this is the fabric I'm going to use with this block and I'm going to be making my round with some kind of points so it blends together. I'm going to use the yellow circle print and her red fabric ( which is on the left) to make what I'm thinking then I will use the red multi color fabric to do the 4 corners. Will post a picture when I get it done.

Spring Round Robin....

This is the center I recieved for this RR. I've picked out some fabric from my stash, but I'm not sure about it so I'm going to take it with me to my Fiber Arts group tomorrow and see what they think of the fabric and what I want to do with it for my round. Will post more when I get home tomorrow.

Monday again......

Well, the picture above is my DS. He came by today to pick up the rest of his stuff as he has offically moved out. I'm not sure how I feel about this but he has his own place and a job so I guess I can't complain. He is 18 and the youngest. I did get bunches of Huggs from him and the first thing he asked for was his Easter basket lol. I'm sad right now, so that's how my day went. I hope to get back to sewing tomorrow.

Flower BOM Blocks

These are the blocks I have made today so far, I still have one to go then to put borders on them. Then I do Part 2. Tomorrow I'm going to a Baby Shower so won't be home til late afternoon.

Well, I've been busy this week working on finishing my blocks from last years BOM's. The pictures above are the last 3 months of the Star BOM. Now I'm working on the 07 Flower BOm, hope to get them done soon.

Longing for Spring Swap...Wow Oh Wow

I got my package today and all I can say is Wow! Leah spoiled me. I got Silk flowers that I thought where real when I opened the package, and a unicorn, 6 skiens of purple yarn, a book on crochet and note cards and candy. I love everything. Thank you so much Leah.

This Weekend

Well, This is what I made yesterday, it's one of Carol Doak's patterns. It's her March Block for her BOM from her Yahoo Group. My DD helped me pick the fabrics and do the color placement of them. Then my DD claimed it and after adding the black ribbon around the outside she hung it on her bedroom wall. So I'm going to have to make another one for myself. Not sure what colors I'm going to use yet. The colors in the pictures look Pink but they are Red.

National Quilting Day.......

Saturday is National Quilting Day.....So in honor of this day I'm going to be sewing quilt blocks all weekend. I have 15 blocks cut out from some BOM's I need to finish and 2 sets of Blocks for St.Patty's Day and Spring that I want to make a Table runner out of. Well my goal is to finish them all. I will keep you updated tomorrow and Sunday.

Lunch Box Swap

Well, I join this Swap today, I'm in the process of making one and it just seemed like a good idea to join it.

Easter Basket Swap and Spring Round Robin updates......

Well, I got my Easter Basket Swap in the mail today and I love everything in it. I had to put it on the table til Easter, it's a standing rule in our House that if you get something for a Holiday it's left alone til that holiday. But I don't mind as I get to look at it everyday. Her ar a couple of pictures of it on my dinner table.

I also got a Center in the mail today from Nancy L. For the Spring RR. So, I have that to work on soon.

Yesterday I spent all day and most of the night cutting out Blocks from my BOM's. There was about 15 of them in all, I'm planing on working on them tomorrow and this weekend fro National Quilt Day. Tomorrow, I go over my friends house for Country Quilter's and I'm going to be getting the pattern for the Winter WH so I can get that one done and hopefully posted soon. She also has the one for Spring so will get to see that one also.

Wow, it's been awhile since I posted.....

Well, this is what I did last weekend on the 1st of March. I still have to finish putting it together. It was a mystery Quilt. I had to put it away for awhile because I have my County Fair coming up and I want to finish my Fiber Arts Quilt top and also have to do the quilting and binding on it, before April 7th I think.

I did get my Spring Round Robin Center mailed out today and I also have my Easter Basket and Loning for Spring Swaps ready to mail tomorrow. I really hope my partners like what I send them.

I posted a picture on the side of Part 2 of the Chicken Challenge. Now I have to do Part 3 not sure if I'm going to keep it those colors or add some to it.

Well, I went to the Eye Doctor last week and got a new perscription for reading glasses which should help me with doing my cross stitch again. I just have to go get the glasses made.
