The Day After........

Well today I slept all day and I'm not feeling to good. I think the changes in the weather aren't helping any, it goes from almost 80 yesterday to 67 today and my allergies are going crazy. I did get some pictures of my DS yesterday and here is one of me and him. I also got a phone call from my brother and found out he is having problems with his good eye now. He keeps losing his vison in it. can't drive or anything. So, he went to the eye doctor and they told him it's optic nerve so they want to run some tests on him to find out if he has MS or if it's not that they say it could be a tumor. So please keep him in your prayers. He just got done with having cancer last year and he doesn't need this on top of it.

I taked to my mom today and she is doing better, still in the rehab place but can use a walker well now. She's getting tired of the place and is ready to go home so that's a good sign.

12 Days of Christmas Swap-Day 2. I got 2 lovely tealight candle holders that are purple my favorite color. Thank you so much Sandi.

Merry Christmas & 12 Days of Christmas Swap

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Well We have already opened all the presents and the Ham is in the oven and DS & Mil will be here around 2pm for dinner. The table is set and ready, the potato's are ready to be pealed for the pot. My Hubby made the head board and foot board for me to use at the SCA so I don't have problems getting up off the air mattress we are using now.
I open the first present from the 12 days of Christmas swap I hosted . The first present was a Santa bell ornament and it came with a note each day has a note with it also.
The Ghost and the fall plate are extra's I got.

Merry ChristmasEve & Christmas Day!

I hope everyone's day is wonderful. I've been upset with my Hubby because for the last 3 days he's been working on stuff for the SCA and not bothering about Christmas presents and Christmas at all. Well, He called me outside today and I found out that what he is making is a present for me, boy do I feel dumb now. It's a bedframe so that I don't have to sleep on an air mattress on the ground, I have RA so it's hard for me to get up off the ground in the mornings. So now I have to make sure tonight is special for him.

Yule party & Christmas tree

Huggs, What a week... we had the first Yule party on the 13th, pictures below. Boy was it fun. We had turkey and Here is me Cooking, like my Santa apron? Then the guys did fight practise. Here is are pictures of me, Crystal & Hubby. Then we put everything away, I left the table in the kitchen set up so we could have another party last Saturday the 20th

the party on the 20th didn't happen to well as we had some problems with some of the people that showed up from the shire but after they left, everything went fine. I can't believe that people would act like they did at someone else house. I have a thing about how you act to childern and the way one of them acted I couldn't believe it, when you are mad at their parent you don't take it out on a child. but enough of that. I don't want to get upset all over again.

This is out Christmas tree this year. it's smaller than the one we always have but with DD in Utah and it only being me and Hubby here, I thought it was better this way. Ds and my MIL are coming over Christmas day for dinner around 2pm. So I will get to see him. I talked to my mom today and she is doing okay where she is at but she's going to my cousin's house for Christmas dinner if she feels up to it.

!'m working on cutting out the mystery quilt fthat they are having on New Year's Day at QuiltBug
also the one they are having at Planet Patchwork . My DD wants me to make her that one and I always do the one from Quiltbug.
Well that's my update for now. I hope everyone had a wonderful Yule yesterday.

December Quiltaton

Well I've been sewing on my blocks yesterday and this morning I got them done and all squared up. Now I just have to sew them together not sure if I will do it today or tomorrow because I want to watch my movies tonight. I love the Librarian movies and they all on today including the new one tonight. I have to see if I can get them on DVD somewhere.

I think I will do some applque or cross stitch tonight not sure which one. These pictures of me and DD are just playing around with the camera.
