My friend Patsy made this wall hanging for me I just love the kitty in it |
This quilt was a little harder for me then I thought it might be I cut the middle aida to small so I could not add all the corner fabrics to them without losing parts of the cross stitching so this is what I came up with. The blocks for the second quilt the blocks are bigger so I'm hoping when I make them I don't have the same problem but we will see. I really like combining my crafts together like this it makes for interesting results and you always learn what you can and can't add/do to a project. My other problem I have is being dyslexic. I always sew something backwards, now that is fine if it is just for me but these are for Charity so the seam ripper was my friend when I sewed the bottom pink row upside down. I think it came out nice even with all the problems.
I've joined the Girls own Stitching Club this year. It looks like a lot of fun and I haven't done stitching in a couple of years still have to finish my Angels from Sandi A. we did in her yahoo group a couple of years ago.

Happy International Quilting day to you too! Your Hello Kitties are cute. Well done.
I love how you were able to fix the mistake and it looks like it was supposed to be that way. Great job!

I certainly enjoyed having you join the virtual sew-cial to celebrate International Quilting Day. Love your quilts, especially the one with the cat. You may want to enter it in the annual Pets on Quilts Show, hosted by Lilypad Quilting this summer.
