I got wedding pictures

I'm so happy I finally got some pictures of Crystal's Wedding. Doesn't she look lovely? They look so happy together.

Well we beat the rain Saturday and got home early from our SCA event. So today I'm doing laundry and getting caught up on emails. Tomorrow I hope to sew some.

Unfinished UFO Swap

I got this from Becky today in the mail. Isn't it pretty. I love the fabric and the colors. I can't wait to finish it. It was a Mystery class that she took. I'm not showing the directions until I finish it.

Also today Hubby did my hair, so now I'm a redhead again. Sorry about the scary pictures but I took them myself lol.

Happy Ostara/Spring Equinox

I've been sewing on quilt stuff today and yesterday. Can't show you yet as it's not done put will post a picture as soon as I can.

so everyone have a Happy Spring! I'm sitting here waiting for IE 8 to download on dial-up so I have awhile to wait lol. I wish they would get highspeed out here but so far know one has it this far out in the country and I can't aford to do it from satalite.

Happy St. Patty's Day

I made this for St. Patty's Day a couple of year's ago. it's done in Plastic Canvas and I had alot of fun making it. See inside there is even a shamrock and gold coins hiding. I'm thinking of doing some more PC soon as I have a Unicorn WH I want to make.
Well, I'm finished with my SCA dresses. This is the last one. I'm not to sure if it's period but I like it it's an over tunic and I'm going to get/buy a white Cheasse(sp) for under it. I might add some ribbon on the sleeves and neckline later if I can find some to match the color.

This is what the design on it looks like, it's not really cross stitched just the fabric looks that way.

Went to get the mail and I found.........

SPRING!

The pictures above are from my front yard and my wildflowers are coming up. The trees are starting to bud and have baby leaves on them.

The only problem is that the ground is so dry, we really need some rain before Summer gets here or we could have the wildfires start again and there already was one in Mid Florida this past week. It's so dry that our dirt driveway is sinking again, that's what happened in 98 or 99 when we had the really bad fires here.

So hopefully we will get rain soon.

DD was married yesterday and I'm hoping to get pictures from UTah today or tomorrow. I talked to my DS on the phone today and he is doing well. He's in Alabama, luckly not anywhere need the town where all the shooting was. It was good to hear from him and he should be back in Florida in a month I hope.

Nothing sewing today yet.

Got a surprise today......

Look at what my SP sent me. I love it it looks like a shield and it's all handmade. Hubby really likes it too and we are going to hang it on our tent or palvillon at our SCA events.

As you can see I've updated my blog to look for St. Patty's Day and March. DD & Matt are going today to get the Marrige licence so Thursday should be the big day, then this weekend they will be flying home. I finished under her bed and getting all her clothes out of her closet, now just have to wash then. I told her that the other stuff she has to go through and then we will pack it up for her. Hurt my back just getting the clothes out, so resting the rest of the day.

I've been cutting out a Dress to wear for the SCa, I'm hoping that it will come out right. Will show pictures when I get it finished. I'm hopeing to finish it before Spring Coronation in a couple of weeks.

What I've been up too......

Well this is what I've been doing for the past couple of days, cleaning and packing my DD's room as she is in Utah and when she gets back she will be moving out. today I'm taking a break and hope to sew on something just now sure what yet.

New Iron......

I got a new Iron, this is the first one I've had brand new from a box. I got it at Wal-mart yesterday. It's a GG Auto Shut-off one with a Non stitck soleplate. This is the first one I've had that the steam part isn't broken. so I get to use steam now. I can wait to try it out. I got all the fabric cut for the rest of the Guild quilt so I will be sewing and finishing the blocks for that.

It's quiet here.....

Well, we took Crystal to the Airport Saturday and she is now in Utah with her BF. They will be having the civil wedding there. Then 2 weeks from now they will be coming back here and getting all her stuff. I've been washing all her blankets, pillows and stuffed animals she will be taking with here and helping with the packing. The fish above is her's and i've been feeding him and cleaned out his bowl today. I'm thinking about getting one for myself he's really kind of cool and so pretty, and the also come with purple colors.

Been cleaning up my computer/sewingroom and since she already packed all her CD's and games. I put up the Screen my Hubby got me for a gift I think it looks nice up there next to the Panda plate.

Then I cleaned off the desk she had piles of stuff in this corner and now it looks really nice and I have more room. I'm using this space to put my cutting directions for the Guild quilt as I'm cutting out the new fabric today. I hope to work more on it now that I don't have to share this room anymore and can sew whenever I want.

The down side to all this is I really miss her. Oh I talked to my Mom and Brother today as he was in KY at Mom's. He is doing much better since his stroke and Mom is going good to.
